Hi. I'm looking for detailers that would shave my head and also my face. I'd like to shave my face close, and my head at grade 2 (6mm), but would also like to shave my head at grade 4 sometimes (13mm).

I've currently got some Wahl Pro clippers for my head and also trim my beard with it. It's very slow for beards though. I'd like to use 1 tool for everything, which is why I've been looking at detailers.

Any recommendations? Btw, I'm in the UK.

Thanks

Located in Midtown East in New York, on East 53rd Street, Prestige Barber Shop began as a dream for its owner of 16 years, Sasha, who began his career learning the trade in Moscow, Russia. After arriving in New York and working in the haircutting business for many years, Sasha opened New York’s premier barber shop 16 years ago. Prestige Barber Shop has since become a well known New York attraction for locals and tourists alike. The shop caters to men of all walks of life from businessmen to artists, actors, musicians, lawyers, medical professionals and more, providing a personalized service that was typical of barbershops years ago while combining it with the style and pace of today’s Manhattanites.

At Prestige Barber Shop you can still get a super smooth, close shave with hot lather and a straight razor and get your contemporary personal style reflected by a special cut from highly skilled haircutters who make it their priority to understand you and your needs as an individual. If you are a rock star, or a conservative business man, the staff at Prestige Barber Shop understands your lifestyle and wants you to look your very best at all times.

At this landmark New York barbershop they work with the finest products from American Crew and Nioxin for the ultimate in hair care and rejuvenation. These products are also available for you to purchase, to maintain that professionally finished look between visits. Prestige Barber Shop also specializes in razor services like beard trims, hairline cleanups, royal and signature shaves. When you visit Prestige Barber Shop you will leave there looking and feeling exhilarated and uplifted. The barbers will not consider their work finished until they are certain that you are not just satisfied but absolutely thrilled with the way you look.

Sasha, the owner, has been in the business for over thirty years and is the third generation of barbers in his family, learning the trade from his father in his native Russia. Working for years in New York barbershops, after arriving in the city, and owning and operating several NYC barbershops, he opened Prestige Barber Shop when he realized that true New York City barbers were quickly disappearing and being replaced with clipper shop chains that had a fast turnaround cutting style that offered little personalized service. By surrounding himself with the finest haircutting talent in the New York barber industry, he knew that if a man felt comfortable in this environment, and was treated as a special individual, he would keep coming back and also become a living testimonial to the quality of service by his personal grooming. This has proven true since the shops inception and is still true today. That is why Prestige is today considered New York City’s barbershop extraordinaire.

Prestige Barber Shop is located at 237 East 53rd St in New York City.
You may visit their website at www.prestigebarbers-nyc.com

I am planning to open an upmarket, modern men's grooming shop in central/south-east London. I have limited barbering experience but extensive knowledge of marketing, advertising and management, along with a strong vision for the business, lots of enthusiasm and access to funds.

I'm seeking an experienced barber to either partner with at a business level or take on the responsibility of heading up the shop's services. As a business partner, we would own and operate the shop together, taking responsibility for different aspects of the business. Or should you prefer to just head up the shop's services, we can negotiate an attractive arrangement.

You may have worked as a barber or men's hairdresser for years, for someone else, and feel it's time to have your own place - be the captain of your own ship or at least a team. I'd love to hear from you and see if we can work together to realise both our dreams.

The shop is expected to open in the new year but keen to get us working towards it together asap. Please tell me a bit about yourself by email in the first instance and I'll follow up with a phone call.

Huey
