TOW: Have you ever participated in a Hair Show/Barber Battle or been to one before?

If so, let us know your experience. I am sure the stories can get interesting so post your replies here on whether you have been a participant in a Hair Show/Barber Battle (i.e. Bronner Bros.) or have you ever been to one?

If you have been to one, did you learn anything new? Was there something there that will make you go back?

Yes I have been in a Barber Battle, called the King/Queen Kutz held in Dallas, Texas, September 07...There were 4 women entered into the competition, 2 from the Dallas/Ft. Worth area and 2 of us were from Houston Texas...It was a great experience for myself...It was my first competition having being in the business for 6 years...I didnt win but i learned a whole lot of valuable insight in to my profession....I would advise anyone to test your skills as well and go and see how its done...Hair Shows are so LIVE and INFORMITIVE!....Be Forever Blessed in your Business!

I,ve been to one hair show before here in chicago.....i enjoyed it....it was very iformative and entertaining.....i don't have my skillz up to par yet.....but i saw alot of people who do and how they take their skillz seriously and have fun with it.....i want to go to another one.....i learned quite a bit about cutting, hairstyles,equipment.....i loved it
