Default Which clippers are the best to use? - 12-07-2006, 01:01 PM

I want to know from the barbers out there, which clippers are the clipper of choice?  Master's, Senior, Etc?  i know some love one more than the other, but which do you prefer and why.

The masters and the oster 76. Masters for their weight and feel. Osters for their ability to cut through mass amounts of hair.

I gotta go with the Masters as well.  Just the metal feels good between your hands.  You can blend the hell outta hair with those.

It's a no-brainer for me; those masters get the job done...it's been 12 years of dependable and reliable service with those. Plus the great part about masters is that throughout the years, the design has'nt changed much, and for those who think about keeping the costs down when it comes to repair, all the parts to it can be bought individually, where there are'nt many other clippers that once they need repair are able to take you right back to the quality and percision that you get from the Andis masters.....

I deffinitly feel that the masters(surgical blade)  come first, they are like the cadillac of all clippers! I use them to clean up after a fade with the 76ers, or to chizel the hell out of a fro...smoken guns!!! Then there's the andis stylinerII str8 blade teasing all edges with the corner of the blade or finger freaknn designs same technique...I know it sounds crazy and too explicit, but those that feel me..FEEL ME!!

I RUN WITH THE OSTER FAST FEED CLIPPERS BECAUSE IT'S LIGHT WEIGHT, EASY TO HOLD, VERY POWERFUL AND THEY DON'T PULL . AS FAR AS MY LINERS, I GET DOWN WITH THE ANDIS T-BLADEZ AND THE OSTER T-BLADE OUTLINE FINISHERS.

i remember first starting I had the cheap, unadjustable Osters to do the balding for my bald fades.  The ones out of Family Dollar.

YOU GOT TO EXCUSE ME, BUT I DON'T KNOW WHAT FAMILY DOLLAR IS. I'M FROM CALIFORNIA! THERE'S ACTUALLY TWO CLIPPERS THAT I RUN WITH, THE OSTER FAST FEED AND THE OSTER SPEEDLINES WHICH IS SIMULAR IN LOOK, BUT THEY CAN ADJUST TO A "000" TO BLEND OUT THAT LINE IN YOUR BALD FADES. EXCELLENT CLIPPER! BEST THING ABOUT THEM IS THAT THEY ARE VERY LIGHT. DO A YAHOO OR GOOGLE IMAGE SEARCH AND TYPE IN "OSTER SPEEDLINE CLIPPER"
