Question How long would it take to get your barber license working under someone? - 04-15-2007, 10:03 PM

I just wanted to know how much longer would it be than going to a school.

In California the apprentice program is two years until you can challenge the board. Its only 1500 hours at Barber college. So ten months of barbering at the college is your best deal. Good luck to you apprentice

Thanks. I am working a full time job now and know that most classes are in the morning when I work.

In Kentucky You Have To Go To School And Complete 1500 Hrs Then After You Pass The Apprentice Exam And Practical You Can Take Your Master Pactical In 9 Months
