That's a good question.  What I usually just do is unscrew the two screws and move them up or down.  But I know that there is a better way to do it.

I was wondering the same thing, kid! But I found that keeping a fresh clean pair of Peanuts in your bag does the thing... Do your "rough edging" with the Peanuts, and then follow up with the straight razor. You ain't gotta use the straight razor, but it keeps a lineup sharp longer; plus it's good for the corners and fine detail work.  Holla @ ya boi!!

Peanuts are good for little kids' lineups too. Being small, they are perfect for getting around the ears if you use one corner.

You can find some here Andis Clippers: Bowman Beauty & Barber Supply . Have you found that they are just as powerful as the corded edgers?

andis have the "detailers" or the "gwhiz".......they're small like the peanut and they don't get hot.....also they come with a "blade setter" so you can get that precise bite.....also have you heard of the "liquid razor"?......that gets a crisp line too

Man the best thing I have found is use a mirror, or a flat surface, push the blade up, tighten up the screws a lil, the check to see how str8 they line up, more than likely u will have to pull back a lil bit, then tighten the screw, I also tighten down the tension screw because there is a lil play still, and the cutting blade still may stick out

you want to make sure when you adjust the blades that the bottom blade is not up past the teeth on the top blade or you'll cut the client and leave a scabby hairline
