Stay calm, keep smiling, and politely ignore their rudeness. Chances are he/she is unhappy about something that doesn’t concern you (bills, babies, job, family, life). Don’t let their bad attitude affect your mood. For every rude nasty customer, there are 10 – 20 customers that appreciate you and the service you provide. I’ve been in this business 25+ years, and I had to learn how to master this skill. I had a customer that rubbed me the wrong way every time she stepped in the door. I call and ask my aunt who had been a hairstylist for year for advise. She told me to get paid, because evidently the customer liked my service because she kept coming back and that she was unhappy with something going on in her life and not me. I’ve bend doing her hair for 18 years, and now she one of my best customer. Stay calm, keep smiling, and politely ignore their rudeness. Keep your head up, offer GREAT customer service and GET PAID.
