I have been reading over the holidays about the salon owner who was killed, the kids who got pepper spayed by attackers, and others and just made me sick to my stomach. Here are a couple of links:

It's amazing the stories that are out there. I have two customers (stylists) whose salon was burned down in Everman, Tx over some jealous ex-stylist that just up and quit. It can be very dangerous.

This is very frightening to me. It makes me wonder if cliens are "casing: the salon which may cause me to lose money out of fear.
